CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made between 7 and 30 days before check-in will receive a 50% refund of the total booking amount.
Cancellations made within 7 days of check-in are non-refundable.
If a guest shortens their stay after check-in, the remaining nights are non-refundable.
Please note:
The time and date of cancellation are based on the property's local time zone.
Any applicable service fees charged by third-party platforms are subject to their own refund policies.
We strongly recommend that guests take out comprehensive travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances.

STONE COTTAGE AND THE LAVENDER HOUSE
What time is check-in and check-out?
Standard check-in is 4:00pm.
Standard check-out is 10:00am.
Occasionally an earlier check-in or later check-out may be possible depending on same-day changeovers. We confirm this closer to your arrival date.
How many guests can the properties sleep?
For The Lavender House
Sleeps up to 20 guests comfortably.
For Stone Cottage
Sleeps up to 11 guests.
If you are unsure about the bed layout for your group we’re happy to help plan the configuration.
Are baby cots and other baby/toddler supplies such as high chair, stairgate available?
Yes, travel cots (as well as other baby/toddler supplies such as a high chair, stair gate etc) can be provided just please request these in advance.
Is parking available?
Stone Cottage
Parking for up to 3 cars maximum. Please include delivery vehicles (food deliveries etc.) within this number.
If your group has more cars we can suggest nearby parking options.
Are hen parties allowed?
Yes. We specialise in hosting hen groups and celebratory stays, but these are usually arranged directly with us rather than through some booking platforms.
This allows us to organise:

* Concierge planning
* Experiences and activities
* Spa or wellness services
Our packages start from £198 per person for a two-night stay.
We also often run offers such as:
* Bride goes free (15+ guests)
* Half-price third night
Do you offer spa or wellness experiences?
Yes. We offer a wellness and celebration menu with exclusive local providers.
Examples include:
* Yoga sessions
* Sound baths
* Massage and beauty treatments
* Private chefs
* Cocktail classes
* Tarot / astrology readings
* Pop-up spa experiences
Discounted rates are available for our guests.
What are the house rules regarding noise?
We operate strict quiet hours to respect neighbours.
UK quiet hours: 11pm – 7am
Stone Cottage house rules:
* No outside noise after 9pm
* No hot tub use after 8pm
The property is monitored externally for noise levels to ensure compliance.
Are children and families welcome?
Absolutely. Many of our guests are families and multi-generational groups enjoying the space, spa facilities, and countryside setting.
Is the spa area included in the price?
This depends on the booking type.
For some midweek bookings the spa room may not be included in the base price but can be added for a small additional fee. Please ask when booking if you would like to include it.

Full check-in instructions, including access codes and directions, will be sent to you prior to arrival.

Booking Responsibility
The lead guest making the booking must be present during the stay and is responsible for all members of the group, compliance with house rules, and any damages or breaches of the booking terms.

Only registered guests listed on the booking are permitted on the property. Additional visitors or day guests must be agreed in advance with the host.

The maximum number of guests permitted is the number confirmed on the booking. Exceeding the maximum occupancy is not permitted under any circumstances due to insurance and safety regulations.

Quiet hours apply between 11pm and 7am in accordance with UK regulations. We kindly ask all guests to respect neighbours and the surrounding community.

Outdoor areas including gardens, terraces and hot tubs must not be used after 9pm to minimise disturbance to neighbours.

Stone Cottage has a strict maximum of three vehicles permitted on site, including delivery vehicles, due to local planning restrictions.
Lavender House has ample parking for 10 cars or more.

Hen parties, celebrations, and organised group events must be agreed in advance to ensure appropriate setup, safety arrangements and cleaning requirements.
Certain group stays may require bespoke arrangements and concierge services which are not included in standard platform bookings.
